Who Holds the Title of Strongest Guild Master in Solo Leveling?

The rise of powerful guilds shaping the battlefield of Solo Leveling.

The hunter system in Solo Leveling brings together various hunters who form guilds to defend humanity against powerful creatures emerging from gates. These guilds became a necessity after the appearance of gates and the awakening of hunters.

Across multiple countries, some of the most formidable hunters lead these guilds. If you’re curious about which guilds hold the most power in Solo Leveling, we’ve compiled the rankings for you. More than 24 guilds operate across the globe in Solo Leveling, but the author did not elaborate on all of them.

Only a select few were featured prominently in the manhwa, and the strongest among them are ranked below.

10. Knights Guild

The Knights Guild took an unconventional approach by consisting entirely of A-Rank Hunters. Its leadership fell under Park Jongsoo, an A-Rank hunter himself. Despite the absence of an S-Rank leader, the guild successfully gathered the majority of Korea’s A-Rank hunters.

Eventually, the Knights Guild set a record for housing the largest number of A-Rank hunters in the nation. It held the fifth position among Korea’s top five guilds. Park Jongsoo and Jung Yoontae were among the most recognizable figures from this guild, leaving their mark in the earlier parts of the story.

9. Fame Guild

Readers might recall Ma Dongwook, one of the main tankers during the Jeju Island Raid. What many may not realize is that this S-Rank hunter was the master of the Fame Guild.

Ranked fourth among Korea’s top five guilds, Fame Guild remains somewhat mysterious due to the lack of detailed information. Unlike the Knights Guild, this guild was distinguished by its concentration of high-ranking mages rather than melee fighters.

8. Fiend Guild

At one point, the Fiend Guild stood as the dominant guild representing Korea. However, its strength diminished when some of its top hunters left to establish the White Tiger Guild under the leadership of Baek Yoonho.

Despite the departure of key members, the Fiend Guild continues to hold the position of Korea’s third-best guild. Currently, Lim Tae-Gyu and Lee Minsung are leading the guild, striving to restore its former prestige. The guild is also known as the Reapers Guild or Grim Reapers, a reference to its distinctive emblem.

7. White Tiger Guild

Baek Yoonho’s rise in strength surpassed that of the Fiend Guild’s masters, prompting him to break away and establish the White Tiger Guild. His goal was to create the strongest guild in Korea, but the Hunters Guild claimed the top spot, leaving White Tiger as the second-most dominant force in the nation.

This guild was exceptionally well-organized, boasting structured departments and efficient management. However, danger struck when the Red Gate incident played out. Jinwoo eliminated their raid leader, Kim Chul, and transformed him into a formidable shadow soldier known as Iron.

6. Asura Guild

Among fans, Siddharth Bachchan was widely recognized as one of Solo Leveling’s most formidable National Level hunters. Before earning that status, he emerged as India’s strongest hunter and established the Asura Guild, which later became the country’s leading guild.

Unfortunately, the manhwa provided little insight into Siddharth and his guild. However, the sequel, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, has begun shedding light on them.

The Asura Guild was deeply dedicated to protecting India’s citizens, a responsibility Siddharth took seriously. Apart from him, Rio Singh, a B-Rank hunter, is the only other named member known to the audience.

5. Hunters Guild

Before Jinwoo founded Ahjin Guild, the Hunters Guild reigned as Korea’s most powerful guild and also held the title of the country’s largest. It was the only Korean guild with two S-Rank hunters under one banner: Guild Master Choi Jong-In and Vice Guild Master Cha Hae-In.

The Hunters Guild maintained a highly structured system, featuring multiple strike squads and mining teams to ensure smooth dungeon-clearing operations.

While it had several A-Rank hunters, it still fell short of the number assembled by the Knights Guild. Nonetheless, its A-Rank and B-Rank members played a crucial role in safeguarding the nation.

4. Draw Sword Guild

A guild boasting 11 S-Rank hunters is a rare sight, yet that was the case with the Draw Sword Guild, also known as the Blade Guild. Previously under the leadership of Goto Ryuji, Japan’s most formidable hunter at the time, this guild stood as Asia’s second-largest.

Before the Jeju Island raid, the Draw Sword Guild was highly regarded. However, the event proved catastrophic, as the Ant King decimated seven out of the eleven S-Rank hunters, including Goto himself. Following this devastating loss, the guild faced a period of decline.

Despite this setback, the remaining four S-Rank hunters, now led by Reiji Sugimoto, continue working towards restoring the guild’s former status.

3. China Guild Association

Liu Zhigang, recognized as the second-strongest hunter in existence, commanded China’s unnamed guild. Since the official name was never disclosed, fans commonly refer to it as the China Guild Association. Specific details about the guild remain scarce, yet it was acknowledged as one of the most prominent guilds in Asia.

This guild rose to dominance after the fall of the Gold Dragon Guild. Although little is known about its structure, the presence of a National Level hunter like Liu Zhigang solidified its position as one of Solo Leveling’s strongest guilds.

2. Scavenger Guild

At the top of the hunter rankings stood Thomas Andre, the most formidable hunter globally and the master of the Scavenger Guild. Until Jinwoo formed his guild, the Scavenger Guild was considered the most powerful.

It was rumored that this guild housed the largest number of S-Rank hunters, though the exact figure was never disclosed. Even Hwang Dongsoo, an S-Rank hunter from Korea, was among its members.

The Scavenger Guild operated on an international scale, deploying hunters across the United States and even assisting in dungeon clearings worldwide. Under the leadership of the world’s strongest hunter, this guild set the gold standard in the hunter industry.

1. Ahjin Guild

Jinwoo received numerous prestigious offers from top guilds worldwide. Despite the enticing opportunities, he opted to establish Ahjin Guild alongside Yoo Jinho.

Although the guild officially listed only three members, Jinwoo’s shadow army made it unrivaled in terms of sheer strength. As a result, Ahjin Guild swiftly secured its position as the most dominant force, not just in Korea but across the entire world.

Technically, Ahjin Guild had just one S-Rank hunter, and Jinwoo had never been formally classified as a National Level hunter. However, as the Shadow Monarch, his power was beyond comparison. With his formidable shadow army by his side, no other guild came close to matching Ahjin’s strength in Solo Leveling.

Many well-known guilds were never assessed in detail within the original manhwa. Fortunately, the sequel, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, has begun revealing additional information about some of them.

For instance, it was revealed that the unnamed Indian guild was the Asura Guild. As the story continues, more details are expected to emerge.
