He has described the anime’s upcoming fight sequences as being “10 times flashier” and “10 times more impressive” compared to what was seen in the first season.

During Comic Fiesta 2024, Solo Leveling lead actor Taito Ban sat down with GamerBraves to discuss both the first and second seasons of the anime.
While reflecting on Season 1, he provided a look into what awaits in Season 2, teasing that the action sequences will be on a whole new level.
“Although the first season was executed incredibly well… when looking at the entire story, it still serves as just the prologue,” Ban explained.
“With the introduction of more characters and an expanding cast, the setting grows far beyond the dungeon where Jinwoo had been leveling up. As Igris becomes an even greater presence, the battles will be more intense and visually spectacular.”

Despite strongly connecting with the protagonist, Ban revealed that his favorite character is Cha Hae-in. “If Jinwoo represents the darkness in Solo Leveling, then Cha Hae-in is the light,” he expressed.

While Hae-in’s calm and composed demeanor was evident in Season 1 when she effortlessly retrieved a stolen bag, Ueda has previously mentioned that viewers will also see moments where she isn’t as in control.
